FAQ
Who is ICDhelp.ai for?
Physicians, residents, medical coders, and students who want a faster way to locate ICD-10 codes by meaning rather than by exact phrase matching.
Is this a diagnostic tool?
No. ICDhelp.ai does not diagnose or choose a code for you. It surfaces possible codes so that you can review them and decide which fits your documentation.
Can I use patient text?
Do not paste identifiable patient information. Use short, de-identified text such as “postoperative fever” or “right knee swelling.”
Where does the ICD-10 data come from?
From public ICD-10 release files distributed by the World Health Organization and regional authorities. The data is static and does not contain protected content.
Do you store my inputs?
Inputs are processed in memory to generate suggestions and are not saved by default. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Will this integrate with my EMR?
The tool is standalone but can be opened alongside most EMR systems. It helps you discover codes that you can then manually enter in your EMR’s search field.
